White patch on glass catfish. How do I treat?

On a side note, but interesting enough to share (imo):

I had one in my tank at work a while back, he was healthy, and iono, he must have ram his head into the decoration. He was alive still, but you could see that his head was red... apparently internal bleeding. I thought it was interesting that when he was normal you cannot see his blood, but with the internal bleeding, the red was really visible.

I'd put my money on some type of fungus from your description. Treat with Maracyn and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you...

In regards to my glass catfish, I treated it with malachite green and temperature of 82 fahrenheit, it's going along swimmingly and the patches haven't appeared for about a week and a bit now.

Yours may be different to mine, it's best that you get a picture up ASAP, there was a thread on how best to take photos of fish http://www.aquariacentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=111882
The ich cysts varied in size on my glass catfish, sometimes they were more central and large, other times they were smaller and towards the head.

If in doubt take it to your most trusted LFS and get them to check it out.
