White "slinky" worm

While moving some plants from the 29 to the 45, I looked in the bowl before I put it in the sink and found a worm. It's whitish and stretches out nearly to 1/2 inch when he moves. Thoughts? bad guy? No telling if there are more.

Curious....where in the heck would these guys come from? No additions to the tank. Only feed flake food for the fishies and waffers for the cories and algae eaters.

Now I'm cornfuzzled. Am I losing my tanks? I do about 25% wc every week.
 
after closer examination...it appears that his head is kind of triangular in shape.

They're harmless and serve as an indicator of your performance with the tank. If you are overfeeding or lagging behind your tank maintenance schedule, they will definitely proliferate rather quickly. Your fish can eat them but it is generally best to avoid them.
