I have several white small starfish looking creatures in my tank. They are about 2mm big and have roughly 4 thick legs. They are not the same as the small white jellyfish looking deals. These are more like tine 3-4 legged starfish. They are sometimes seen on the glass but can be found on the rock as well.

Any ideas?

I have had those in my tank in the past. I was told by folks at a LFS that they are a pest, and should be eliminated, because they can harm corals. They seemed innocent enough, but I chose not to take any chances with my corals, and i got rid of them.

Thier nothing to be worried about, thier a type of Brittle Starfish, and are good scavengers.

The ones that eat corals and whatnot are usually of the knobby star type, as in short stubby legs.

Do a search for Asterina starfish, see if that's what you've got. I have a few in my tank that don't damage anything, and our big reef tank at work has loads of them. They don't seem to hurt a thing :)
