HELP!!! My 6 month old tank was doing beautifully. Just did 25% water change (do them weekly) no new fish added in weeks. Water parameters all normal. Woke up to find strange white specks all over glass, and they break up and multiply! Anyone have any clue?

They stick on the glass and separate, and don't look like they move much--not with the current. They are oval or round and are clear with a darker center. I think they might be "arcella" amoeba.

So they don't move into the water column? Honestly, sounds like baby snails.

How would I get them? I never purchased snails and haven't gotten new fish in over a month.
