I've had a pair of endlers for about a 2 weeks now, but all of a sudden, the female got this little white spot on her! At first I figured it was just a loose scale or something, but now she has 3 more, at least! I think it may be body fungus, but if so, should I treat the entire tank, or just the one fish? Mind you, this tank has snails and plants in it as well, so should I take them out first? Would they be ok, you know, not carry the disease out of the tank then back in? Or would they be able to survive the treatment? Please help! Thanks!

the white spots look like grains of salt stuck on the fish? if so, it is ich, a parasite.

inverts do not do well with a number of the ich medications out there. they also do not do well with the salt and heat method used to treat ich. i would remove the snails and any other inverts from the tank before starting treatment. house them in a rubbermaid bin with a filter and heater (if your place gets cooler than 75 or so, if it stays warm a heater won't be needed) during treatment of the fish, and until you have cleared all meds or salt from the tank via water changes and carbon after treatment.

Any new additions in the 2 weeks? If it was ick it would have shown up sooner than 2 weeks.
