white stringy poop

what parasite is this? my swordtails as well as one gourami have been ripping these stringy white poops for a while now but i've ignored it because they have been eating fine not getting skinny and seem otherwise normal - i have some pepco medicated foods by jungle i guess i will be feeding them now - i did make a medicated food a while back with that metrozyclone (sp?) powder stuff - fed that to them for a while - but this stuff coming outta their butts is definatly not normal poop - but the funny things is sometimes they'll follow up later with a good hard normal poop - so maybe it's nothing ? oh well anyhow i will try the medicated pellets i guess but what might be the cause here?:sick:

Do they do this regardless of what foods they're fed?

hmmmm

i havent paid enough attention to the food to white poop ratio - i mix up so many types of food for them ? you think maybe certain foods cause this? i feed them brine shrimp,new life spectrum pellets, blood worms, flakes - all the freeze dried foods are by hikari and say they are free of parasites etc
