Ever since I had to hook up the hose to the sink to do water changes for warmer water, I see a white cloud roll across the tank, turning the tank cloudy for a while. The fish are ok, but I did lose one angel about a month ago. In the past, this wasnt a problem because I had smaller tanks and jugs of water ready, but this isnt practical for a 55 gal.

This white cloud has me concerned and Im wondering if it will have any long term effect on the fish. Im not sure why the water turns white when I use warm water, any one know? Is it poisonous?

It may be tiny microbubbles of air dissolved in the water. If you fill up a glass with water, does it look cloudy at first? If the bubbles just rise up and the water clears, I wouldn't worry about it.
 
It doesn't look white when I fill a glass of water. If it is chlorine, I hope Prime takes care of it before the fish breath it.
 
Sometimes when you add some warm water to the aquarium it will be white at first but then it will go away. I don't think it is anything to worry about.
