who knows about rubberlipped plecos?

It could also be amelanistic.....albino with dark regular eyes.

It's not an albino bristlenose, it's some kind of Chaestostoma, just impossible to say what kind from the picture. Stress can make them lose color. Better pictures, if it lives, should help.

Barbie

He/she is getting better, it's a darker color now. it's amazing what could happen overnight:

I had one of those plecos before. He always hid unless it was feeding time, so you might want to put something near the front of the glass for him to "hide" behind and you can still see him.

really? my hubbies albino dwarf frogs don't have red eyes

I have never in all my life seen or heard about an albino African Dwarf Frog, chances are, he is an albino African Clawed Frog that get to be about 5 inches big, need at least a 30 gallon tank, and will devour anything it can fit in its mouth.

Look at its front feet, if it has webbing, it is a light colored African Dwarf Frog. If the front feet don't have webbing, it is a light colored African Clawed Frog. Either way, they aren't albino, they are just light colored because they don't have red eyes.
