Who makes the best aquarium heaters?

I want a good dependable heater for my 55 gallon... I'm thinking a 200 watt is what I would need? What brands are the best?

I've had Ebo-jagers in the past and have been happy with them. You might consider two 100-watt heaters, instead of one 200 watt unit, so you have a fall-back if one conks out.

I am running a Via Aqua Titanium heater and I really like it, I have read that the Finnex Titanium's are very good. I will be switching over to all titanium's soon. The stealth by Visa Therm also seem to be very good

I use Eheim Jager. I think they are very accurate and long lasting.

I also like the Jager, use them in all my tanks, but might be switching to hydor in-lines for my tanks with canisters

you know, i bought some offbrand titanium heater from a odd website almost a year ago and i love it! i may look for more in the future.

Ebo-jager, made well and last long, and don't shatter if droped on concrete. from about 4 feet.
