who to put in 10G first...

Hopefully Santa Clause will be kind to me this year and give me a 10G starter pack (filter, media, hood, light, etc), to transfer my betta into from his one gallon "tank". I am planning on transferring some of my smaller fish from my 37G tank into the 10G. I really want to put my 2 gold white cloud minnows in there and possibly my two glo-fish (wish I could put my mollie in there but that wouldn't work out I don't think).

My question is: who should be transferred in the 10G first? Should the betta go in to establish his territory or would it be better if the other fish were in there before him?

If you are going to have other fish in the tank with the betta, then I would put them in first. Bettas can become territorial of thier space if they think that they are being invaded upon. Some bettas are fine with other tank mates and others are not. It just depends on the individual betta. They all have thier own personalities.
