the mentos/coke thing has been the latest craze for the past few months. They experimented with all this on mythbusters.

My daughter and I made a Mentos and Coke geyser once for an experiment. It was fun. lol Ours went up at least 20 ft.

you won't have enough time to get the cap back on to let it build up.

and if you do, i would throw it FAR, FAST. lol. best bet is to drop the candy in and RUN, cuz youre gonna get soaked.
