Hi,

I got a pair of RD about 2 weeks ago (male around 30cm and female 15cm). Anyway there both really scared of me (they eat all the food i put in). When i clean the tank or lift the top they go in the corner and hide.

How long do u think they take before getting used to me. I had a 5inch RD that used to bite me through the glass all the time

I'd say give 'em a week or two.
I have one that i've had for 3 months that was very skittish for 2 weeks but has improved steadily since. Whereas my other attacked my hand as soon as i got him out of the bag and has claimed my whole bedroom as his territory (attacks the glass as soon as i walk into the room).
