Why can't we just move!!!!!!!!

Uhgg... It is just so annoying. We have gotten 2 contracts on our house and both have fallen through. Ahhhhhhh..... Well there is an interesting story to the second one. Okay so some oriental people came in they looked at the house once and said they liked it put an offer down. The offer was strong however there was a contingiency. Our house number is 2511 which adds up to nine. Nine, apparently, is an unlucky number. So the contingiency is that they will only buy the house if the number is changed to 2513. So you know we change our scheldule around my sister was taking the SAT. I was going on a campout(which we did in fact come in second place considering that we had a lot younger guys than the people in first place did that is pretty good.) The next day our realotor goes to a court changes our house number. after he is done with this the poeple tell us That it came to them while they were in bed that the numbers had to add up to 7. well the only number that we could get to add up to 7 was 2500. But we are on the wrong side of the street for an even number. anyways you can guess why I'm complaining. If we could just move I could get my 55.

Thanks for sharing that story - quite amusing. I hope you'll be able to get it straightened out - i know how it feels not to have the room for the tanks one would like to have.

Erm... Do you mean Asian people? Oriental is adjective for food and rugs.

hmmm..... I thought I heard everything.... Instead of being so displaced by these people who can't seem to make up their minds or pick out superstitions from their beds by making you go out and so far as to change the number of your place, I would just opt for another bidder. These people seem to be more a problem than I'd like to be bothered with.

Maybe because they are more oriental on changing the numbers of the address than oriented on whether or not they want to buy the house.

Paint the bottom section of the number " 2" the same color as the house, or whatever the background is, and tell them it's now a number " 7 ". Problem solved.

Hey , I live in Japan and I also built a house hear too. The Japanese have this kind of superstition with numbers too, plus many other things. You should have seen the stuff we had to do while planning the house(but it is all good, aquariums and gold fish bring good luck, ). The chinese however, seem to take this a step further, so I can understand your postion.
