WHY do you love your Aqua Clear Filters

My only noisy AC's are from the splashing that occurs when the water level is too low...other than that I have NEVER had a problem with the different ones I have used. I haven't really done anything fancy with the media but it is nice to have the custom options.

It's not as quiet as I like, but if you take the cover off of it, it's much quieter. Can anyone tell me about these "mods" written about? Think I might have to go buy 3 more for my 10 gallons I'm cycling right now.

I have 3 aquaclears of various sizes. When I first got them the lids did make a vibrating noise. But oddly enough after 2-3 days they no longer made any noise at all. I am guessing there might be a little plastic flashing that wears down and becomes quieter.

Both my my ACs made a lot of noise when I first got them. The one near my computer almost drove me insane. But after a couple of days the noise went away and now they both run almost silent.

Aqua-Clear filters do not keep nickel and diming you so to speak. The sponge can be rinsed time and time again. You save over the long run. They also do a tremendous job at filtering. They are the best HOB filter.

Aquaclear are quiet and eazy to clean
i am using a 110, 70, 20 as we speak on 2 tanks in my bedroom
