why has my platy not given birth

Hi, can anyone tell me why I have 1 platy fry in my breeding box. It was born this morning and 8 hours later I still don't have anymore. The female still looks like she has more in her to me. I have a pic attached

she may have had just one or had eaten the others, from that pic she doesn't look that pregnant still. Don't quote me on that though

Does she have a dark spot right by the fin on her stomach?

The babies pop out when she wants them to, sometimes in large numbers sometimes in small numbers. Like Ballyhoo said, she may have eaten them. Especially if she was isolated with them in a breeder box.

She doesn't look that big. My platys don't seem too prolific. But I have mine in a community tank with lots of guppy grass so the smartest babies tend to survive.
