Why I Hate Black Friday...

This is a celebration of the birth of Jesus (Does anyone remember this!).

Yes, Black Friday is indeed a celebration of the birth of Jesus.

Oh man-you sound exactly like me. I have no patience, no concern, no empathy for 99% of the entire population. And it's because 99% of them act just exactly like this WalMart crowd. I'm even female and we're 'supposed' to be the 'nice' gender.

Count me in. There's no limit to human stupidity.

Though the morning rush always amazes me. I mean, there's really only a few items that are on sale exclusively for the morning shoppers, and only the first few people on line will get to them. The rest won't be any worse off if they came later in the day, or Saturday/Sunday.

Hope the store owners made there money at the cost of peoples lives. Im not a bible thumper or a hater but it sickens me to see what has happened to all our holidays. This is a celebration of the birth of Jesus (Does anyone remember this!). I love getting my kids stuff and all the Santa and Easter Bunny stuff, but lets not forget the real meaning of the holidays and atleast treat eachother with a little respect. Is a new flatscreen tv worth lowering our moral values, lets all focus on the important stuff we need like family, friends, and our fellow man..

They didn't make any money...the store was closed down (and irate shoppers said things to the effect of 'we're not leaving, we've been here since yesterday'). I don't think it's on the store owners...it's on those who couldn't even wait for a store to open its doors and then stepped over a dying man and paramedics in order to shop.

Oh yes. . . Veteran's Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, President's Day. These days have MEANINGS! They were not authorized by the government and stuck on our calendars simply because someone thought it would be great to have more big sales. Can you imagine in 50 years. . . a 9/11 sale? With the way our country is, I don't think it's unlikely. Capitalism is our religion, and we pray with our wallets. Patriotism doesn't mean flying a flag, just buying one at the 4th of July closeout.

People act like such morons. Here's a story about some poor employee killed in a Wal*Mart. Trampled to death when folks, eager to get their new TVs, broke down the doors and crushed him.

Bet his family's having a pretty bad holiday season already. Hope the culprits are enjoying their new TVs, though....scumbags.

That comment is not right nor is it needed. Im sure nobody at that Walmart had any intentions of hurting anyone. It was just a horrible tragedy that occured. Granted it could have been prevented by better crowd control it wasnt. Something horrible happened but it was not a premeditated act.

The Toys R' Us shooting is a different story.

Most Black Friday shoppers are not this crazy. I spent 14 hrs at Best Buy starting at 4:45 Thanksgiving Evening and everyone had a great time. Granted I had a 30ft long by 10 foot wide enclosed tent that was 80degrees because of a propane heater and had a 40inch TV, 2 couches, and video games lol. We all had a great time. Nobody fought and I made some great new friends. Just overall a great time I will never forget.

Oh and I scored some AMAZING deals on laptops. I saved over $300 on each laptop so that is WELL worth waiting 14hrs.

Oh and I learned a few things.

1. I can no longer throw a football nearly as far as I thought after suffering a type 3 shoulder seperation. Boooo!
2. Parking lot pavement hurts when its 25degrees and your playing tackle football.
3. Fires in 55gallon drums on the sidewalk in front of Best Buy are illegal.(wasnt mine but I thought it was funny)
4. People will be awestruck by the amount of planning that goes into your camping setup. lol(see above for setup info)
5. People become very fond of you when its 25 degrees outside your tent but inside it is 80degrees and you can wear shorts and a Tshirt and sit on a nice comfy couch.

Don't blame it on Wal*mart or crowd control.... if people acted like humans instead of animalistic scumbags, it wouldn't have happened.

If this was just some unforseeable 'accident,' the cops would just move on...But instead, they're reviewing the security footage to look for the scumbags who trampled the poor guy.

and thats what should be done... for once i believe the term "scumbags" suits them well!!!!!!!!!!!
