Hey
My anubias seems to be "blowing" bubbles from some of the leaves. Whats going on here? It's planted the way it should be, but I have no idea why its happening.

argh ye matey, is it a high tech tank? If not, is it right after a water change? I would bet you have some minor damage to the leaves its its single "strands" of bubbles

Sorry, but whats a high tech tank? hahahaha The leaves edges look a little brown. Does that mean its dying?

My Anubias Lanceolata did the same thing to me the other day. I have it tied onto driftwood and it was getting covered in nice brown algae so I gave it a quick scrub with a baby toothbrush. Afterwords it looked like a single bubble-bubble stone. A ribbon of single bubbles in rapid succession. I figured that I just made the smallest puncture in the leaf while I was cleaning. It has not died off, or suffered any other ill effects since. ::shrug::

My first thought was... "congrats, your plants are happy and pearling!"

My plants done that alot in my high light 30g.
It should be because its making alot of O2 and gonna be a millionth of an inch bigger by morning.

Now if its doing it while the lights are off. You have a weird plant.

Hahaha my lights are about to go out at 10 30, so i'll check an hour after that...Another thing is, some of my pennywort's leaves are getting really big and falling off, BUT there are many towards the top that are beginning to bud....Is that because the plants are just getting used to my tank? (my plants have been up for about 4 days now)

argh ye matey, is it a high tech tank?
rofl... the Q AND A... what around 2+ wpg, ferts and co2... sounds like pearling to me. that should be good.

Yes, indeed, when I shut off the lights, the bubbles stopped. This is what the leaf looks like....I hope my plants will do okay hahaha I worry too much
