Does my Jaguar insist on rearranging my tank??? It moves the gravel around by the mouthful and moves it all to one pile.

fortunately I have a canopy so I won't have that problem.

That's interesting. I have seen Africans do it, but I had no idea South Americans did. I personally think it's a pain. The Jag is the only one that does it. The Oscars in that tank don't. It makes scaping the tank a real challenge.

Sounds like cichlid fun to me. They like things the way they want them and they will work at it.

When I was finished keeping cichlids, the most exciting thing for me was to know my gravel would be where I put it, not where the fish wanted it! What I find amazing is to watch the smaller cichlids, like brichardi, move the gravel one piece at a time until they got it where they wanted it!
