Why won't my rasboras school?

The fish don't have to be aggressive, just larger. What other fish are in the tank?

I had a bunch of cardinals that wouldn't really school until I added a powerhead into the tank to create some water movement. As a result, all the cardinals started schooling. They like to ride the currents together and swim back and forth as a school all the time now. I don't know if it will work for your rasboras, but if you have an extra powerhead laying around, it might be worth it to try.

I had some neons that weren't schooling. I went to webwebmedia for advice and they suggested that fixing up water parameters might help. I started adding RO water to the tank (local water is very hard) and that seemed to help.
