Wierd GSP question.

Thats awesome, I never knew people had anglers in captivity. Do you use regular lighting with him, since they have the little light and usually never see sunlight? And where did you get him from.

I've seen them in several LFS & you can order them from www.liveaquaria.com. I'm not really sure where my frogfish came from (called a Wartfin) but he seems to keep near the top of the rocks. It's only lit by PC lighting.

I have two GPS and the are in a 30g in slightly Brackish water(0.099 at the moment) and will be slowly introduced into full marine. Im told that the ppm should be acclimated by .002 with each water change. Is that right?

Haha, no, the SG is at 0.099

On my Hydrometer is says 1.000, but it drops slightly off the scale(you can tell its at 0.099)

But seriously, a 30g each? that seems like alot for 2" of fish

Test some RO (or tap water) water & see if the hydrometer is at 1.000, wich is fresh water, no salt at all in there. Nothing can be below that.

They will grow from 2-6" quite quickly. They also are heavy eaters/waste producers & need that amount of water to dilute the waste. They are active swimmers & like lots of swimming room.
