Wife's new pleco.

Hey Kryten. I got 2 of these little beauties. Lucky me i got them for £20 each.

I've found them to be extremely peaceful, very active (even during daytime), easy to feed (courgette, sweet potato, cucumber, lettuce, different algae wafers, blooodworm and raw prawn).

I'm from Ipswich and I got mine from a place on the A140 called Stonham Barns.
Bargin, i'll have to check out that place over the weekend.

love to see a close up! :)
This is the best i can do for now.

I was going to post a few days ago but forgot, anyway the pleco didn't eat the snail. The snail was upside down on the bottom of the tank and the pleco was all over him like he was eating him. A few days later the snail emerged without a mark on him, maybe the pleco was just cleaning him.
I really like this snail and don't want to lose him, it would be really hard to replace him if we did lose him as he is the only nerite snail i have ever seen for sale. I asked my lfs if they could get any more but they can't and they only got that one by accident (he was mixed in with a load of apple snails). Any way i'm going to move him into my son's tank to keep him safe from the pleco.

The pleco shouldn't harm the snail. You can look in our classifeid section for Nerite snails or PM msjinkzd. If she don't have any she'll know where to get some.
