I got 4 wild Mpimbwe C. Frontosa in today, and much to my dismay, one of the females is having a hard time staying down. She is swimming nose down constantly to keep from floating up to the surface. I don't know if this was from here being brought up too quickly when she was caught, of if she has ingested a large amount of air somewhere along the way.
Is this something I should sweat, or will she be able to expel the air eventualy on her own. Is there any thing I can do to help her out a bit along the way? Some one suggested to me using a broad spectrum antibiotic such as metronidazole, but I don't see where that would help. Any suggestions or info from experiance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanksk,
