Will a three spot gourami eat planaria?

it's up to you. I'd personally go the fishy route only if the regular water changes for 2-3 weeks don't work out. Another option would be to use a commercial wormer that you add to the water. Those are geared at all kinds of worms, parasitic internal nematodes and tapeworms usually, but they'll definitely work on harmless planaria. They're all worms. Something like Jungle Internal Parasite Clear would be perfect, as it doesn't contain copper.

THANK YOU!!!!!! If you were here I would hug you. :bowing: lol

... so I got a crew of golden algae eaters and a couple of snails yesterday- my glass that was previously covered with hydra/planaria (still confused if it is the same thing) - has gotten crystal clean overnight!! :thm:

So the question is...which one ate them?

And no, I do not run an undergravel filter. Waste of time/money IMO.

Both, but algae eaters definitely contributed more - snails are way too slow! lol You could actually see both of their "cleaning trails" all around the glass! Woo hooo!!! :D

And yes, I am with BloodThirsty on the undergravel filter.

So "Golden Algee Eaters" I'm not familiar with them. Can you give me any info on the exact species you got?
