I have a 50 breeder tank with 5 Yoyos, 5 B. kubotai, 1 Sand Loach (Nemachilus spp.), and 2 Chinese Weather Loaches. The Yoyos school with yoyos and chase the kubotais. The Weather loaches hang out together and ignore everyone else. The Sand loach runs everyone out of a 6" half circle in front of the flower pot he's claimed. They do not all school together.
Also, I have a tank (55) with 8 B. striata added 3, then 3 a couple months later, then 2. They seem to hang out in two separate groups (though that's pretty fluid).
