will fish eat until they explode?

Do feeding rings really work? I was thinking about getting one. Oh and my cichlids eat tons of food. I just throw a big pinch in there and it is all gone in about 3 mins. And I throw in ALOT.

a yellow tang is in my restocking list. After seeing what healthy yellow tangs look like, I love them. All I was exposed to were poorly fed and dying PetCo tang all shoved into one tank prior to seeing this forum.

Although I don't recommend them as a place to shop, Butters was a PetCo rescue.

Fantastic tangs.
You can't beat a healthy looking tang IMO
As for feeding i struggle with nitrates so i feed a small amount twice a day, Flake in the morning and a block of frozen at night and all gets eaten, if i reduce feeding Dory starts to look thin.
Nitrates on the way down.
