Concerns lies with the feeding of live food, as a weekly treat I normally buy live daphina and just add to tank, this week I decided to buy some blood worms put them in the feeder and watch for the frenzy to follow. Although the bags of live food are not on the large size I got quite worried as the Dutch ram and the Teras bellies looked like they were ready to bust, I quickly removed the remaining bloodworms in the feed putting them in a container and transfered to my quarantine tank and scatted the remaining worms for the Corys once the lights had been turned off. My question is will fish over indulge themselves and just keep eating. I also purchased frozen cubes of food how many can you feed in a day/week. I have also been informed that Agassizii like vegatable matter will they eat catfish pellets or do they have specific veggie pellets just for Cichlids.

I certainly stand to be corrected, but from empirical evidence as opposed to educated statement, I believe aquarium fish to be like horses--small tummies in relation to physical size and they will eat until they literally explode. Pigs, I tell ya, they're pigs. Won't stop 'til it's all gone, and look for more!!!! More food, more poop, more ammonia, it never stops. That's my

I had an irridescent shark that gorged himself to death on a mystery snail. He was just floating upside down with a fat belly. It was pretty gross.
