That's true too but not in a bad way. Even a good piece of a leaf will grow into a new plant.

very hardy plant, although when handling it, leaves break off easily lol. had some in my 55g just floating at the top and they got huge, so I had to give them away lol. they grow like a weed. you shouldnt have any problems in your tank

They should. A lot of the fast growing "aquatic" plants are basically weeds that don't care if they are in water or on land.
