Will loaches eat Cherry shrimp?

Are kuhli loaches or hilllstream loaches safe with MTS or apple snails snails?

I think my zebra loaches are pacifists. I put some snails in for them to eat but 2 weeks later I still see snails ever once in a while. My tank also has ghost shrimp and they dont touch them. Its very odd.

It can take them some time to realize that the snails are food, when they do they will be gone.

Ok, the thread is confusing me. I'd like to set up a new tank at home with some small schooling fish (neons, zebras, etc) some kuhli's and snails and shrimp and whatever else pops into my mind. So, are kuhli's bad for shrimp, or will they get along? If I buy bigger filter feeding shrimp, will that be ok? Let me know!

Kuhlis not likely to do any harm, but bigger loaches are.

I would think hillstream loaches would be OK (they're really more of a sm. pleco than a loach, aren't they?).

Hill Stream's are similar in a way to pleco's (maybe even a Catfish) ... I think they do better in faster moving water though...

It's true that Hillstream loaches like to graze algae, but they are omnivores and they like shrimp.
