Will loaches eat Cherry shrimp?

The tank I'm setting up for my co-worker in his office will be planted and will house weather loaches, hillstream loaches, white clouds, turquoise danios, giant danios, fancy guppies, cories, apple snails, MTS, gouramis (all small types), wild bettas (maybe), rasboras, denison barbs, mollies, siamese algae eaters, and swordtails. Any other **asian-looking** fish you can think of?

i don't think it would be good to mix gouramis/bettas? i heard bettas get frightened or picked on..?

Thats what I thought about bettas. So do you know of any other **asian-looking** fish that would fit into this community?
As for some more **asian-looking** fish, I've come up with a few different plecos, panda barbs, pictus cats, and swordtails.
Any others?
Oh, and for y'all information, this tank is going to be fairly big. something in the the vicinity of 300-500 gallons.

i have kuhli loaches with 5 amanos, 1 bamboo, and 1 vampire shrimp. the kuhli's have not harmed anyone in any way. i used to have cherries, but they died of unknown reasons... maybe cherries were small enough for the loaches to go after? no clue, gotta find out from someone else who has kept both in the same tank
How can weather loach possibly harm anything other than worms? All they do is suck. When I was small I used to catch weather loach and amano shrimps from my local river and put them together in my tank and nothing ever happens.

Thats how most loaches eat snails, sucking them out of their shell. I've never seen mine do it personally, but many have reported they do.
I've always kept weather loaches with Japanese trapdoor snails. The loaches leave them alone, both adults and juveniles. But my loaches are wild caught, maybe captive bred ones eat snails?
I've never had trapdoor snails but arent they so named because they have some sort of protective shield that closes them into thier shell? I dont beleive loaches could get at those guys unless they are really hungry and determined. But I've never had them so not totaly sure, I've fed mine pond snails and ramshorn (for my bottine loaches, not dojos).
