I will be leaving on vacation in a few days and will be out of the country for about a month. Nobody will be available to take care of my fish. Will they be okay without being fed for about a month? I have neons, bloodfins and tiger barbs. Any advice?

Lol, after that long, its going to be a fish eat fish word...or tank in this case. You really need someone to come by every couple of days to feed them...at least once a week and do a water change after feeding.

I don't think I can find anyone to feed my fish while I'm gone. I think I will just let it go for a month to see what happens.

I suggest you donate the fish to your favorite local fish store. Maybe they will give you some credit for them when you come back and want to restock.

Well I guess it is your call...but you came here asking for advice and everyone has pretty much said what will happen if left for a month without feeding... So I guess it would have been better left unsaid than to post it up here for all to worry about your fish and you not take any advice given.

Maybe take them to your local LFS and see if they will give you store credit for them and when you return start your cycle back and get more fish later with the store credit.... If they wont give you credit I am sure they will atleast take them and they will have a chance to live instead of starving and suffering bad water conditions from being neglected for a month.
