Will my Glosso come back after black out?

Had a problem with green water (replanted large crypts, didn't know they were going to get THAT big, pulled lots of stuff out of substrate...) that I couldn't get rid of. 2 weeks, endless massive water changes (well, many anyway) I decided to do a blackout. 3 days didn't work. Waited 4 days with more water changes to at least see into the tank and did a 5 day blackout. Funny, the glosso never looked so good as when I had the green water, now a few pale leaves haunt the substrate...almost like they're waving good-bye... :(

Any hope?
 
If you're light is penetrating, and your co2 is up, don't worry about it. In it's "happy conditions" glosso will grow back like a weed:)

Mine does it all the time. I forget to replenish my co2 for, oh I don't know...3 weeks at a time :o , and it half dies. Then I fill 'er up and it grows back:D
 
Thanks Leopardess! I'm thinking of re-doing the tank in light of my "disaster". Knowing you have great pics on your link, I went there for inspiration! Thanks again for putting that info in one place! The links from your link (is that correct web jargon? Prob not...sorry!) where very helpful too!

But, there are a *lot* more beautiful tanks elsewhere. Have you been to aquaticplantcentral.com? They've got an aquascaping forum that will make you drool:) Plus, the AGA site gives great inspiration.
 
No I haven't been there YET! I hesitate to since seeing Aquabotanics results, I'm debating if I should even go on... :rolleyes:
