will my new lighting work - just bought it

thanks tomm! yeah my head is goiong to explode - lighting is by far the biggest pain in the ace ever!!!
yeah it comes with those 50/50 bulbs so i will try to get some 67000 k bulbs - i can get any type and it shoul fit right?
as long as the pins fit and it's a PC bulb?

i'm on AH-Supply loking at bulbs will either of these work?Part 15550 - 55 Watt 5000K Compact Bulb
Warm daylight. Full spectrum. Use on a freshwater planted tank when you want to have the effect of sunlight filtered through a forest canopy.
or
Part 11556 - 55 Watt 6700K Compact Fluorescent Bulb
Very bright, clear white light. Like daylight in the middle of the afternoon under a clear blue sky.
they say they are flourescent by they will work with my new strip light right? even though mine can handle PC lights?
also if you were to choose which one woul you get?

Power compacts are fluorescents, just a different kind. The 55w lights on AHsupply's site are power compact fluorescents which is what you are getting. They should work. The only hesitation I have is that I know the pin configurations can be different as can the ballasts for those lights. I think a 55w will work in a 65w fixture (that's what you said you're getting, right?) I'm just not 100% sure. A quick call or email to AH should help you out there.

That being said, I think I'd get the 5000k. I have a 6500k 55w on my 29g and it like the tank is three feet from the sun. Your colors may look a little more natural under the 5000K lights.

yeah thats right tom! so PC bulbs or flourescent bulbs will work and the lights i was talking about were PC anyhow (was just checking cause on AH they said compact flourescent)
i will e-mail them and tell them what type of strip lights i'm getting and they shoul be able to tell me i hope!
i like the sound of the 50000k bulb
