I recently purchased a baby orange pike and i put him in my 29 gallon tank. I know he needs at least a 55 gallon to thrive, but i can't afford that right now. I figured i would keep him in the 29g for a few months and until i'm able to purchase a larger tank.
Will my orange pike be okay

He/She will be okay for now, as long as you start saving up for a larger tank and can have it in a few months so he/she can have a more roomy home.
BTW, a 40g Breeder would be better than a 55g for it, it will give it 6'' more room to turn around.
