The pond with some Triops
I rearranged the tank (again) so nothing shadows nothing (been losing a lot of plants because they were shaded). I decided to put water sprite in the back (hearing that they grow 31 cm tall?). During the process i found out that my water sprite broke off into 5 more pieces so now I have so many all lined up at the back (don't worry they all have roots). But some of the plants' roots are out of the gravel. will they root into the gravel?

Water Sprite will grow freefloating, so no worries, mate!

Aquatic stems will always grow new roots. No worries. That is why a popular way of pruning is to pinch off the tops and place into the substrate.
