Will salt in freshwater damage fish?

How would the bala shark break the tank? One is already about 6 inches long and the others maybe about 3 or 4 inches.

Balas are very powerful fish and they will freak out when they are in tanks that are too small. They bash themselves against the sides of the tank and break them.

I bought a Dragon Goby today at petsmart and the guy told me i need to add a teaspoon of salt for every gallon of water.My question is will this hurt my other fish?I have 3 bala sharks, 2 redtail sharks, 3 blueberry tetras,3 x-ray catfish, 3 plecos,and 3 tiger barbs.

Please reconsider your stocking of that tank.
