Will sucked Air Bubbles destroy the Filter ?

it causes friction and turbulance in the impeller chamber, which will eventually wear out the impeller, faster than normal. it should not affect anything else. may cause extra noise.

In that case, the bubbles near the intake tube isn't such a great idea. lol Thought you had HOB's.

While is isnt exactly the same situation, I have been pusshing pressurized co2 through my Eheim canister now for over 5 years and the system still works great. I got the Eheim specifically to do this as I would not trust any other make not to have problems doing this. I have not needed to replace anything in the filter yet.

As long as the filters filtering its fine. Its when pumps loose prime, then its bad. I wont put them near my canister filter but thats the prime issue.

I'd be fairly surprised if it did anything but make the filters noisy.
The exception are canister filters which could lose their prime, thats bad.

Otherwise, i doubt it'd do anything at all.
I personally would avoid it because of the noise.

The technical term is cavitation. In a nut shell your pump is not pushing out as much water as it should because air has gotten mixed in with the water. And yes it will wear out your pump parts eventually.
