this is what i have found but its a little expensive for my taste.does anyone know if this light will do well on my 29G and if you know of a site that sells these light systems that would be great

i was looking at both before and someone told me that jebo has some weird bulbs. and the downside of both is that they come with saltwater bulbs..

well it says for saltwater or freshwater.i would like to get a new light as the one i got is the light that came with my aquarium which isn't bright at all

are you going to have plants in there?
if anything you will need to switch out the actinic bulb and get a 6,700K.
You can always try ahsupply!!?

this one looks promising the only thing it asks is you do nor put it under a hood.well i have snails and they will crawl out.would i have to buy a glass canopy?

well im looking at ah supply and it will cost around the same for one off there as it will to buy else where because i would need a hood.but with the hoods they supply you with how do you open it to feed your fish?How do you keep water from getting on the lights and ruining the wood?i have snails and if they can just crawl up into the lights i cant get it.And the ones you prop above the water say not to put a hood underneath them which i need again for snails

guessing mgamer means that 4.5wpg is plenty of light which might be perfect for plants but great for algae

130 over a 29 gal is going to cause you nothing but problems. look for a 65w set up that comes with a 6500k-10000k bulb or get a 55w bright kit from ahsupply.
