Windows 7

Has anyone been running this OS long enough to make any opinions ???

....That arent Negative

I am running it on 2 different PC's and I really like it. I have vista on another and don't like it at all. I also have XP running on 2 computers, and it is nice as well. I think overall I would choose 7 over XP, as long as you have the hardware to support it.

Also for you laptop users, don't forget that you can just buy a new hard drive, and replace the one in your laptop. Install the new version of windows on it, and if you need any of your old stuff, just plug the old drive back in. If you want to copy data off it, just get an adapter, and use the old internal drive like it was a usb HDD. Here's the link to equipment that will do that: http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=210679778&listingid=37287146

That cable will basically take ANY internal drive and make it an external drive.

As i was part of the Tech Beta, not the "download and run" public beta ( ;) ), i've been running it for about a year now...cant fault it be honest....

Thanks thats refreshing especially because im currently running Vista Ultimate and I love it I really cant relate with any of the people who have had so many girpes about Vista. I think the only thing tha i can complain about is the prompt that makes you click allow for allot of third party programs or DL's.

For all of you who dislike, Vista Why???

Sorry not to threadjack but thus far everyone has picked XP over Vista

For me, it just keeps randomly locking up for a few seconds when trying to do something, other times it won't even start, too annoying to deal with on a daily basis.

Might be best to start a new discussion on this, so this can stay on the thread OP's post..

Thanks..
