Wisteria...

All the plants, including the wisteria, in my 60 gallon improved dramatically when I upgraded from 30 watts to 80 watts.
All I did was switch to a pair of inexpensive 24" incandescent light strips, replace the incandescent bulbs with compact fluorescent bulbs, and add a third light fixture which I got at a thrift store.

There are low light plants that will make it under those lighting conditions right hee on AC.

Like what? She has less than one watt per gallon. Thats barely enough to grow algae. You should have between 2 and 3 watts per gallon of water. 110 watts minimum on a 55 gallon tank if you want to grow plants. And the light will not hurt your fish one bit.

I agree that she needs more light, but lowlight plants such as anubias will do fine between 1-2 wpg.
