... participates in historical re-enactments?

I do medieval, with the Society for Creative Anachronism, SCA for short. I play as a late migration period Magyar.

My housemate does SCA, as a 13th century English village smith, and is a blacksmith in residence at Fort Klock, which is a Rev period homestead near here.

So many centuries - so little time....

... and, as other re-enactors will know, so little SPACE to keep all the gear!! :lol2:

 I guess I do then according to Mr Reefscape :) I just skip the breakfast part and make my lunch at that point and then go to work.

According to my wife, I reenact ancient history, my childhood. Playing with R/C trucks & helicopters; also keeping creepy crawlies in tanks, I just used mason jars as a kid.

i have strange yearnings to play pretend commandos again, i may be interested in somthing like that if theres nothing else to do

I don't participate but I do live close to a place called New Market Battlefield that does civil war re-enactments yearly. It actually is a neat place to visit they rent metal detectors and you can go out and search for bullets, coins etc on certain parts of the grounds.
