I was thinking of adding a fish or two to my rcs tank. i was thinking sparkling gourami, scarlet badis or celestial pearl danios.
has anyone kept these type of fishes with rcs?

if u like your CRS, leave them alone in the tank. 99.9% of fish will eat small shrimps

why dont you try some other inverts?
unless you do something stupid like add a crab or crayfish most inverts get along just fine
you culd add a few other typs of shrimp or snails or something

if your realy stuck on fish you culd try neons theyl definatly eat the babies but the adults wuld be fine
depending on your tank size i know this guy who tried marbled hatchetfish they stay at the top pretty much but theres no garenty theyl reject a free meal
plecos and otos dont realy have the mouth for it but thats just me guessing

I've been "stupidly" keeping dwarf cajun crays with my shrimp in 4 different tanks for 6 months or so with no issues.

Indeed; even CPDs will eat baby shrimp. Your adults should be fine though. I'm a new CPD keeper and I don't see them harassing my shrimp at all.

i have a tank of cpd, about 60+ and never had a problem with my shrimp but i also have a very dense plants also,..

None of my fish read the internet and have no issues with the RCS(killis, ram, and platy have also spent time in the 15), although I would imagine they would eat the babies. Heck, the RCS even straddle right up to the betta and put their feelers on him. They do have a dedicated spot in the tank that only they can access though, a flat-bottom section of root driftwood I have propped ever so slightly off the gravel bed. YMMV
