Thanks, I swapped tanks a couple times, and used rock I had, so guessing about 150lbs, which is a lil light for me in comparison to previous tanks.
I usually rec 1-2lbs per G
Lately I've been seeing more open space in tanks, and like it.
You still need a good amount to assist in filtration process IMO.
I also have some in my sump, and plan to add more LR as I find pieces I need, mainly flat tonga I plan to cover bottom.
Water your tank more so it will grow!LOL
I'll tell ya, I'm SO over the musical chair thing w/ tanks lately, but this seems to be a good size for all I plan to keep, no more multiple small reefs for me.
I want to sit back and watch all this stuff grow out now, and enjoy a well seasoned tank.
Hopefully the elements allow me to do so!
Thanks for comp!
Thanks, I made pillars using acrylic rods, guess I didn't post that on here. That's what I've been doing for years now, maybe I'll find pics and post em.
I live in earthquake country, can't have a lil trimmer knock all my goodies over.
when you use the rods, do you drill holes into the rock and glue the rods into the rock? I have been wanting to do something different to my tank and I really like your layout. Can you do this to established live rock?
