cycle finished (man, bio spira works like a charm :D). I went to my lfs to pick up the puffers today,

Never been big on names for anything, but Wiglaf and Hrothgor (from Beowulf) sounded nice

pictures are coming soon (my darn camera eats batteries like nothing else)

thanks to everyone who gave me advice

just one question: when can i expect them to start eating?

I agree--they should be very interested in eating. Small sized live or frozen food items are best--live often being the only thing some will take initially. Brine shrimp, while not the best for long term feeding unless you gutload them, are fantastic--but they need to be little ones. My first puffers ate 3 day old brine, and had fat stuffed tummies after 2 or 3 (meaning, really tiny kids!)
