Wood Question

Another vote for slate.
And let me say how insanely envious I am of you for that piece of wood. In fact, you should give it to me now. :grinyes:
 
I have to agree that it is a beautiful piece but..................I am not sure that Pine will do very well in an aquaruim.
 
Pine sap is toxic, but that pine looks weathered enough to be inert. It couldn't hurt to drill a few test holes in hidden areas, though; if it's gray through and through, it's fine.
