Well, I do believe that folks eat salmon eggs too....but I don't know what those are called...

I have to say again this thread rules!!!!

So thats where I am going wrong, you dont cook caviar.
As to what salmon eggs is called , it's called Ikura in Japanese.

I read somewhere that caviar is aquired by taking a sturgeon, whacking it in the head, cutting open its belly, tearing out the egg sack, and then leaving the fish to die. Its kinda sad seeing how caviar is nasty and stupid.

I know this thread may seem "FUN" to alot of people, but it has obviously moved far off topic! I nominate this thread for LOCKDOWN!

Every time I log on this thread is at the top of the list, but has little to no value to those trying to learn or give advice on fishkeeping. I'm sure it's "real funny" to alot of people out there, but let's place it where it belongs please, and move it to "general chit chat" forum. Everything has it's proper place. After all, I see many people ask about equipment they bought and how to "rig" it or do different things to function differently, and these are quickly moved to "Equipment and DIY" forums. Let's be fair with every topic. I'm a patient man, but we are now close to 5 pages of this!

PLEASE LOCKDOWN AND MOVE TO CHIT-CHAT!

I vote we move it too. Good call Bmeasure.

....

Oh for cryin' out loud.

:argue:

Please.

Here's what you do. If you haven't already.

1. Return your fish. You'll end up with dead fish and fish poo stew every 2
days if you don't.

2. Research on how to cycle your tank. 1.5" of fish for every gallon is the
rule. Keep to compatible species.

3. Get your fish from a reputable source. Diseased fish are not fun to treat...
and a pain in the butt.

4. Depending on the size of your angels, you'll have to either transfer them
into a 10 - 15 gallon (minimum) for the time being - then, wait for your
eggs to hatch. I'll probably have the fish nazis breathing humanity down
my neck, but your angels will survive with proper care.

5. Research. AND START SLOW. Upkeep, maintenance, and how to keep
the peace in the tank - this is what you need to know to avoid a mass
headache.

Did I say fish nazis?
