I have seen some rather beautiful chinese cresteds....but, they are the show quality dogs. Most of the lesser quality ones are..indeed...ugly ! Bad teeth is an issue with these dogs..has something to do with genetics. You have to breed a hairless chinese crested to a powderpuff in order to get any puppies...otherwise, they all die. The powderpuff is the "hairy" variety of cresteds.
And these aren't even the nicest ones I've seen !!

I have seen that pic many times, and always thought it was an old "powderpuff" Mexican hairless. No matter what it is, I bet it could account for a few Chupucabras sightings!

Lol Queen....well, if I looked like that I think I'd have a pretty mean temperment too !! Man...that's one Fugly Dog !! It looks like something dead that had just crawled back up out of the ground !!!
(GASP !!....OMGosh !! what if that's exactly what happened ?!!...if I were the owners, I think I would encase the body in granite...to be sure it doesn't come back up again....because obviously it has once....may more than once

The lady that adopted the "unadoptable" has had an interesting life with the odd little guy...Apparently a boyfriend left her over the dog...Couldnt stand looking at him lol
