i have just noticed that there a little red worms hanging out of the butt of some of my fisy there are deffinatly alive and wriggling

what treatment is best for them ans is it harmfull to any of my fish
i have plecs , killiefish , goby cichlids , bushfish , synodontis , reedfish , headstanders , loaches .

all have signs of a worm infestation as in a swollen belly and little redthings hanging out of there posteriour

They're camallanus worms, one of the internal parasites that is a pain to eradicate. You'd need powerful dewormers for that. Fenbendazole, flubendazole, flubenol or levamisole hydrochloride are your options.

i have got some kusuri wormer plus its a Flubendazole based treatment and is ,eant to be the best money can buy so we will see if thats correct

well treatment seems to be goin ok so far i have lost a youn killie but he has been looking ill for a while

the worms seem to have lost the colour and are fewer in number i will teat again next week to be on the safe side

yeah dose per instructions but i think those 2 fish were weak as they were alot samller than the others

still no major improvement and i was infomed by my aquatics shop that the wormer i am useing can be dosed upto ten time the rated dosing as its the same they use at the shop so if in a couple of days i dont see any improvment i may dose again
