I cured 20 # of live rock and everything has been doing great so far. I discovered a white round thing about the diameter of a pencil poking out of one of the holes a few days after I put the new rock in the tank. I havent seen it since and it has been 3 weeks, but today I noticed a new creature on the same rock but it is flat and black. I am not sure what this is can anyone help me out on this? I am not sure wether or not to remove it from the tank or not. It looks to be about 1/2 to 3/4" in length I do not know if it is larger since it is not completely out of the rock. It does go in and out of the rock.

I have snails, tang, black clownfish, green brittle star, serpent sea star, pumping red xenia, longspine urchin, approximately 60# live rock, in a 72 gallon bow front.

The Green Brittle Star will eat fish when its get larger, so you might want to keep an eye on it. As for the creature, have a pic of it?

Well the little buggar went back into the rock and I havent been able to see him again. I did look at the pics and it did look like a limpit as much as I could see of it. Thanks for your help
