Ok Im new to the site, but no that new to the hobby. I purchased a 55 gallon freshwater tank from a lady like 4 years ago. It was full of African Ciclids 2 loaches, 2 Feather fin catfish, and 2 very large Angel fish. I immediately bought another tank and moved the Angels there to prevent them from being picked on so much. I have kept these 2 tanks and also added a salwater tank a year later. Well my angels as I found to my suprise later they are good breeders. Well 2 weeks ago I noticed these tiny worm things floating in the tank. They are white and cannot swim to well. Quite frankly they look and act like sperm. I had to drain and move all of my tanks to the basement as we were installing new carpet. Well today I noticed more of these creatures and also noticed my angels fins are not as large as they used to be, and these worm things would land on them and irritate their fins. I have searched and searched on the internet for an answer. Its obviously a parasite.I do have pix of it them.

There is one circled in red. I have only had 1 fish die in 4 years and im hoping these little critters aren't going to take my angels. I also check my Afican cichlid tank also and saw 1 of these creatures in it also. My angel tank has like 1,000's of them now especially when vaccuuming the gravel. The Africans substrate is sand. I think I spread then to the Africans during the move. Any Help Ideas of any where to look would greatly be appreciated
