worms in 20 gal snail tank?

What are these things? They look like thin white worms, and are very fast moving. I have to look very close to see them. I never noticed them until I added Colonize to the tank. this is a tank I have never used prime on until yesterday too.
Are these worms dangerous? Should I get fish to eat them? I don't want to harm my snails or yellow shrimp that are in the tank.
 
Caused by overfeeding and not siphoning the gravel. I believe it was said they are in everyone's tank but when you overfeed than they really become apparent.

It seems to be an all invert tank, introduction of a fish might eat shrimplets and than you would need to rehome the fish. Just do siphons and lessen food.
 
i had an issue once. i just stopped feeding. this starves the worms and makes fish hungrier. then the fish start cutting into the worm population along with them starving. cleared up around 3-4 days
